What box to ask for as DTA replacement?
I currently have a 4K DVR box (XG1v4) and 3 older DTAs. I was going to go to a Comcast location last fall and exchange the DTAs for an upgrade but that never happened. Looking at the online ordering option to replace the DTAs and I get "X1 TV Box" as the DTA replacement but no other info as to what that is in terms of model but it almost looks like another DVR. What would the appropriate upgrade box be to replace the DTAs? Only need the extra ability to look at primary DVR recordings and don't need wireless boxes but not opposed to it if it would work in my configuration. We use our own equipment for modem and router so never had Gateways or Flex - have seen where this sometimes makes a difference in what we get. May end up calling to speak to someone but still would like more info. Thanks.

Hello there, and thank you for bringing this to our attention through our Forums! I understand you would like to swap out your equipment for some newer, enhanced upgrades, and I can definitely appreciate the effort to reach out, and upgrade! Rest assured; you're with the pros, and our Digital Care Team is here, every step of the way!
Can you please send us a private message, including your full name, and your full address? You can do so, by clicking on the chat icon, in the top right hand corner of your screen, and once you click on that icon, you should be able to search "Xfinity Support", which should then give you the ability to send us a message. Thank you in advance, and I look forward to speaking with you!

I have just upgraded to a new x1 TV DVR box. I find that it is not compaitiable with my older equipment. I would like to get a analog DTA box back as replacemtent. Is that possible?

You could ask if they would accommodate your situation and provide an older box. I know the newer boxes have fewer connectivity options since everything now is going to HDMI. There are electronic conversion solutions out there depending on your budget that allow connection to older equipment.
