What are the weekend days for the weekend $1 movie rental award?

Is it Friday, Saturday Sunday, or, only Saturday and Sunday, or something else?

I activated this reward last weekend and made my first rental on that Sunday (Nov 20).  All went as advertised for that first rental (that is, I got an immediate charge against my account for $5.99 for the rental, but then also got an immediate $4.99 credit applied.

HOWEVER, I processed my second weekend $5.99 rental just yesterday (Nov 27).  This time my account was charged $5.99 for the rental, but it was not followed by any credit at all.

When I checked on the active Rewards on my account this morning, the "One Dollar Weekend Movie Night" item shows the text "Looks like this reward ended on November 23, 2022.  But there's still toms of special perks waiting to be explored".

Clearly. something went awry with your system's processing of this reward as it processed it as a ONE TIME USE reward instead of leaving it open to be used EVERY WEEKEND (until January 1, 2023) as was offered.  This is quite aggravating.  How do I get this corrected so that: (1) I get the $4.99 credit for yesterday's rental, and (2) I can continue to make a rental each weekend per the terms of the offer?

While looking for the second weekend's movie to rent, I checked my activity since I've had the same type of issue you had in the past. And just like yours, that reward showed as ended. I was not happy so I thought I'll check on the weekend, and when I went in again a couple days later on Friday, I saw the same reward that you could claim. After I claimed it, it showed up in My Activity as active and I rented a movie that weekend and got the credit. Now that reward shows as ended and it's moved to the Complete section! (There are now 2 of those green rewards showing in my Complete section.) I'm asking the employee above about this.

But try going in on Friday and see if you can claim the reward again - they may intend for you to claim it every weekend as well?

@Lilybelle54 Thanks for sharing your observations.  I will definitely try this on Friday (and subsequent weekends until Jan 1, if it works this weekend).  Additionally, I will be reaching out to Comcast to demand that they make good on the $4.99 credit that should have been automatically applied this past weekend, especially since there is no indication whatsoever that one has to actively re-redeem the reward every weekend for which they intend to use it.

Oh gosh, I didn't read the fine print above in Amanda's post. It shows this:

Xfinity Rewards members can only redeem this reward once per weekend, but will be able to redeem it again each following weekend.

Good luck this weekend :)
