WESTINGHOUSE TV remote pairing

I recently got new boxes and newer style remotes from xfinity. One of my tvs is not a smart tv. It's a Westinghouse LD-2480. After looking on the Westinghouse remote code website, I learned that when programming the remote,  instead of selecting Westinghouse as the TV make, you will select Samsung. The Samsung codes are compatible with the Westinghouse. No matter which TV brand you have, there is an easy way. Just use Google to go to your "TV make" xfinity remote codes and see which TV make has compatible codes for programming. I found my list on a Westinghouse website. No need to enter 20 different codes to find out they don't work! Good luck!
