Voice guidance will not turn off

I have spoken with many customer service reps at xfinity and got a new tv box and control.  Voice guidance still loudly announces volume setting.

We can absolutely understand wanting to get the voice guidance, also known as the Audio description turned off! It sounds like you're well on the path to resolution if you'd already attempted to replace the cable box and remote! That is great!
One thing we do want to make sure to ask about, is the specific settings on the television itself. There are quite a few TV's nowadays that have a voice guidance feature built in, that can be managed by accessing the TV settings themselves! Had you a chance to check with your manufacturer to confirm if that setting is applicable in your case? 
I've also include a link here to walk through how to double check the setting within our X1 Settings as well!
