Voice control is off
I have the voice control setting off and the onscreen voice suggestions off and X1 tips off. Why do I still receive onscreen tips to speak into the remote to change channels? XG1v4

Thank you so much for contacting the Digital Care team on the forums! I'm sorry that you don't want to receive those onscreen suggestions.
Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

What response did Comcast give? That issue has been 6 months or longer and reported and NO fix.

Xfinity is well aware they have a problem with these suggestions coming up even though we turn them off. This form is full of complaints about this and it's been going on for months and nothing has been done it's time Comcast listens to their customers longtime customers like myself are getting tired of this kind of thing and with steaming becoming the new norm. People are just going to keep cutting the cord. Stop the stupid TV commercials, People aren't dumb like commercials make them out to be T-Mobile is hurting you guys were you won't be putting commercials up about it.
