voice commands stop working
My remote works fine except for the voice commands. When I try to use the voice commands it says " I am sorry something went wrong" this happened all of a sudden.
I did all fixes that were recommended in the forum and in the Xfinity help sections. Some things I did multiple times as I read that it might take multiple times.
None of this worked. Very frustrating. And like I said it was working just fine minutes before when I was using it and out of the blue just stopped working.
I was reading all the notes in the forum from a few years ago and like I said I have done it all to try and fix. NO LUCK - help please

I too have been having issues. Three different TV's. Started about 1/2 hour ago. New batteries in all the remotes. Rebooted each TV, and also the wifi.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Everything works except voice commands, all of a sudden.

We have the same problem. Voice control won’t work when trying to select different channels. We can use voice control to recover saved shows but not to change channels. We have tried every reboot available with no luck.

Same issue. If I type in a channel number it will go to it, but if I say it, I get the sorry message.

Greetings @user_ymdu0d Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to reach out to our Xfinity Community Forums. I completely understand your frustration, especially if you have tried different things to fix it, and it's still not resolved. With the methods you've already attempted, have you unpaired the remote to pair it again?
To unpair the remote:
Locate the Buttons: Find the A (triangle) and D (diamond) buttons on your Xfinity remote.
Press and Hold: Press and hold both buttons simultaneously for three seconds.
Observe the Light: The status light on the remote should change from red to green.
Enter the Code: Once the light is green, enter the code 9-8-1 on the remote.
Confirm Unpairing: The status light should blink blue twice, confirming that the remote is now unpaired.
Once you see the light blink blue, press the microphone button and say "Program Remote" you should see instruction to complete the pairing process. (Remember when you get to the part where it ask if you would like to control your audio recever, if you dont have a soundbar, select not now.) Let me know if this works.

We did all of that, and nothing changed. The following morning, everything was back to normal.
