Viewing the Guide for a particular channel vertically to see the shows for the next view hours

This is less a question and more sharing of knowledge.  I am fairly new to the X1 box and in general really enjoy it but I missed the capability I had with my previous DVR to click "Guide" twice and see a vertical listing of the days shows for the channel that I was on in the guide.  I called Comcast and they told me there was no way to do that but I think I have found a solution that I wanted to share.  Without the guide open, when viewing a particular channel use the right arrow on the remote to see a short list of channels, I think this is called the side menu.  Once you have that menu open then click the right arrow again on the channel you want to see vertically and there it is!   Check it out!
