Video is corrupt

My video is intermittently corrupted for anywhere from a 2-3 seconds to upwards of 15 seconds.  It eventually recovers.  I thought at first it was wireless connection so I switched out to ethernet and disabled wireless but the problem still exists.  I'm thinking now that my rented X1 box may be the issue but I can't seem to find how to get it replaced.
