Not yet. Cable was routed through the VCR to the box. Will try.
the DVR will have to be connected to the set top box coax out connector to the input coax on the VCR. the VCR will not be able to use its own tuner to change channels. (output will be on channel 3 or 4)
Got the DVR box installed with no problem, but can't get the VCR to work. It turns on, shows Play & immediately turns off.
The VCR does not know what it is recording, so has to be something else. try putting a known good tape with recordings on it in the VCR and see if it will play.
