Using TV During Extended Power Outage? Options

Hi,

Would like to hear about options to have TV available during power outages. Thinking about outages for a day or two.

For example, would a portable power station be a way to power TV and cable TV modem and cable TV box connected to TV?

Anyone try those portable TVs that receive TV stations with antenna? (so won't get cable TV stations) ?

I see that xfinity offers a 'Storm-Ready' WiFi option, but that only works for up to 4 hours.

Any other options?

Greatly appreciate any and all input.

Thanks,

Mark

If the coax cable is down then your service won't work. I have a whole house generator and have had my Xfinity work while power was out.

However, when the coax is damaged or down there are no options.

You can use Xfinity Stream TV To-Go channels if you have cellular Internet during a power outage.
