Upgrade current DVR to 4K DVR

Hello forum mods. I just went to an Xfinity store to return an old X1 gateway. That went fine. Then I was asking the store person about replacing our DVR which is quite old now. They gave us a model which I believe is the

Pace and Cisco XiD X1. The new unit is working fine however it is not appear to have any local DVR storage. I also asked about upgrading to a 4K DVR but they said I would need to contact support about that because it is very low in stock. 

so my question is can I replace the new unit I just got with a 4K local DVR box?

So one month ago you took the time to lecture a customer about your rules but you couldn't bother to answer the question so that maybe a few of us wouldn't have wasted our time landing here. Spot on for Xfinity.

Our 4K TV boxes including the 4K DVR are generally not available in local Xfinity Stores, or Comcast Service Centers. Requesting to have a 4K TV box Getting Started kit shipped out is the best way to guarantee that a 4K TV Box will be sent.
