Unused Coax Cables

Hi. I have two TVs that are no longer connected to cable. If the coax cables are not capped will they cause interference on my other TVs that are connected to cable?

That is a fantastic question! Those unused coaxial lines won't cause any type of interference with your services. I have several outlets in my home that are active but not in use at all. :) We appreciate your time in posting to our Xfinity forums and if you do experience any service issues our team of experts are here 24/7 to assist.

Noise ingress is always a possibility. Everyone's individual environment is different. Unused outlets should always be capped with a 75-ohm terminator such as these;
