Two New X1 4K Channels

1354 and 1355 showed up on my XG1v4 boxes on Wednedsay before the Super Bowl.  HDR10 (presumably Dolby Vision on Xi6) and Atmos.  They are running a loop of Fox Sports promos right now.  Both list a dog agility show on Saturday and a full day of Super Bowl content on Sunday followed by a TV show after post-game.

Same where. Xfinity is airing the Super Bowl in 4k UHD with Dolby Atmos Sounds.

1354 and 1355 have the same content, but 1354 is just Dolby Vision and 1355 has Dolby Atmos. But I’ve been watching 1355 and I noticed that sometimes there are audio dropouts. I can’t tell if it’s the TV that’s doing it or the content. Because when the audio dropouts happen the “Dolby Vision” and “Dolby Atmos” indicators appear on the screen.

Odd.  Both have Atmos and HDR10 for me.   No DV because I have XG1v4 DVRs, not Xi6 boxes.

No dropouts here.  That description suggests interroption of the signal to the TV.  How are you watching?   And how is your source device connected?  If your Xfinity box is attached to a receiver or soundbar, the TV wouldn't know about the audio at all.

It’s connected via HDMI cable. Actually looking more closely, both of them have Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, but 1355 has “low latency.” I’m not even sure what that is.

Low latency means it's closer to real time.  1355 was running about :05-:10 ahead of 1354.

Is your X1 connected directly to the TV or through a sound system?

Monday after the Super Bowl.  There's a Westminster Dog program on FS2.  The one on Saturday showed in the guide on the new Xfinity 4K channels and showed on the list of 4K content when using the voice remote.   This one did neither.  But, if you go to the HD FS2 channel, tap the Info button, and then More, a screen pops up showing that it can be watched in UHD.  There it is in 4K HDR.

Sure would be helpful if you could find it using the guide or voice search.   Or if it was put on the one of those new 4K channels.  I fear they'll end up like the ones added for the Olympics that hung around for months with no content ever on them, then simply went away one day.
