Tv volume

Ever since I hooked up the Zumo box to my TV and tried to program it with it my TV's volume just shuts off and now it doesn't control the volume on my TV when I went to reprogram it to see if that was a problem

Hello, user_a3b4a1 thank you for taking time out of your day to create a post, you have contacted the right place for assistance in regard to your remote pairing concern. I was able to find this great article off our website that has some Xumo remote troubleshooting: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/programming-your-xfinity-remote. 

 

If you have an XR100 Remote (Xumo Stream Box customers) and are still having issues, perform a factory reset:

  1. Simultaneously press and hold the back (←) button and the add (+) button until you hear a beep.
  2. Press 9, then 8, then 1.
  3. Wait for the confirmation beeps to finish resetting your remote.
  4. Once this is complete, you can retry pairing your XR100 Remote by pressing the voice control (microphone) button while pointing at the TV Box.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the pairing process.
