Tv switches to screen saver while watching
While watching a movie on X1 box, every 18 minutes the screen goes black and then switches to an advertising screen for xfinity. Then I have to turn tv on and it starts a different channel. I then have to go find the channel I was watching and find the right place and start again! This happens every 18 minutes. How do I solve this?

using your voice remote 'device settings' --> screen saver --> screen saver starts after: change to maximum (5 hours). fixed?

Our X1 box also switches to the screen saver, but it's every day between the hours of 1 & 2 pm. I did go into setting and turned off everything I could turn off. I mean EVERYTHING and it is still happening.

This should be a choice of the customer to use or not use, not Xfinity.
