TV Screen Keeps Pixelating

I have 3 tv set top boxes and all three of my tv screens keep pixelating. About every 30 seconds or so the screen gets distorted and blurred. (This does not happen if I am streaming Prime or Hulu so I’m assuming it’s an Xfinity problem). I have been through all the troubleshooting with the assistant. I’ve restarted, done a system reset, made sure all cords/lines are tightened, and still the problem persists. I’m not sure if this is a neighborhood-wide issue or if it’s just my signal. Anyone else ever experience this? Can the support team here help or do I need to get a technician out to the house? This has been going on for a few weeks now. Tired of seeing distorted images. Thanks for any help!

The technician that came to our home switched out all the tv boxes to wireless ones and there has not been an issue since. I replied with this answer once already but it seems to have disappeared.

How do you like the wireless?  Any connectivity issues?  Do you have the same functionality such as rewind, stop, etc that you would when is was wired?

Glad to hear that, user_0866e3! Did the technician let you know what had to be done to fix this? Our community here on the Xfinity Forums may be able to learn and benefit further from this information.

I am experiencing the same exact thing.  When my TV isn't pixelating there are several channels that say they are having trouble connecting.  This service is the worse service I have ever had.  On top of that you can't ever talk to anyone or contact anyone.  This is awful.  Anyone have any suggestions?

user_kzdyqf I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing a similar issue. Have you completed any troubleshooting steps on your end? Such as rebooting the TV boxes manually or through the Xfinity App? Did you check the coaxial connection on both ends (wall plate and TV box) to make sure it's tight?

I've been having this issue since the beginning of the year.  Got a new box - no problems.  That box died a month ago and the replacement box is doing the pixelating again.  I've been trying to just get a new box.  The box that was just sent me was a non-DVR box.  So not even the right replacement.  They're trying to start at square one with me again to trouble shoot.  Just send me a new/correct/working box!

I have same kind of screen pixelation issue recently. It happens in occasion consistently. I brought new TV, restarted setup tox and run the test by the instruction from Xfinity assistant. the problem still exists. there is no pixelation issue on streaming channel when I watch it on computer.

I was also having the same problem

I spoke to 3 people in the "advanced tech department " and got 3 different answers. The last suggestion was replace box and all cables, which I did. Still had the same problem. So, this morning I changed out he boxes on both TVs, new box in living room, large living room box in bedroom. Now both TVs are OK. Why didn't the new box work on one TV ( the one with the problem  ) and works on the other?
