TV says "no signal" but cable box on and working

I received my equipment yesterday and everything installed fine. The issue is when I turn my TV off and then turn it back on when I get home it says "no signal" though audio is working on my soundbar. I've tried switching to my fire stick and back (HDMI 1 to 2 and back again) but that does not work. I've switched out cables and the same thing happens. The only solution seems to be unplugging the cable box and plugging it back in.

My tv is a Visio E322AR. The box is a XG2V2-S.

unplug each end of the HDMI cable one at a time. reinsert pressing hard until you feel and maybe hear the click as the connector locks into place. Is the set top box plugged directly into the TV on the HDMI port the TV manual recommends?

@bjr70 Hello, and thanks for reaching out to us on Forums. It would be frustrating to have this issue! We can certainly help troubleshoot. Just to confirm, everything works until you turn your TV off, and then back on, then you experience the issue where the sound bar is connected, but your TV is not recognizing that the box is connected, correct?
