TV remote quits working

Why is it that my remote control randomly stops working after 6 at night? Why is it that Comcast says it is my problem & to check my cords or troubleshoot further when this is clearly a Comcast issue? Why is that no one person seems to take responsibility for this [Edited: "Language"]?

My remote does not work. XR11. I have done the reset.  procedures 100s of times. Changed batteries. I’ve had this problem and talked tech support. She could not solve. She said call for tech visit. He came, fixed, and charged me $100. I am about to turn this remote in. I have changed it for new one twice.
