TV Pixelation

Has a solution been found for the pixelation issue?  I am in SE Denver and have had the problem subsequent to recent network enhancements.  It occurs on HD live programs, but not on streaming apps.  A new modem was installed in December.  On March 4, I set up a new X1 TV box, including a new HDMI cable, and spent 45 minutes on the phone with an Xfinity tech.  All cable connections were checked for tightness, and she did a system refresh.  I just performed a system refresh today and the problem persists.  Thank you for your assistance.

You have tried exchanging boxes and or HD cords if they are being used? @user_grqspw

On March 4, I exchanged an old X1 TV Box for a new one at an Xfinity store and spent 45 minutes on the phone with an Xfinity tech the same day.  I also replaced the HDMI cable with a new one that came with the old X1 TV Box but had not been used yet.  It did not solve the pixelation problem.  If it makes any difference, I do not have a smart TV nor a 4k TV.  Are there different types of HDMI cables?  If so, maybe I do not have the most up-to-date version???

I will be more than happy to help with your request. To begin, would you mind sending me your name and the address to your account in a Direct message?

For forum direct message -

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
