TV pixelating

TV pixelating on all LIVE channels.

Tech came out in mid July .. tighten up the "outside" cables and the pixelating STOPPED.

TV is now watchable...

Tech said he will dispatch Field tech to come out to check the cables (outside).

Field tech arrived in the morning today...

Did a bunch test and replace connectors (all outside) and confirmed there are no errors..

However, found the pixelating started again after turning on the TV in the evening...????

Now, I am FORCED working with the BOT (Xfinity Assistant) before I can schedule another Tech to come out.

ge00736 Never Forced we do have other options always available to help troubleshoot like here! Thank you so much for your post for help with your pixelating issues.  I have a few questions is this only on one TV you are having the issue with? Is this on more than one channel? Do you notice if this is live TV or is it on recordings or On Demand?

@XfinityAmandaB please help I am having the same issue and I have spent all day trying to figure out how to schedule a tech visit or even speak with a human. It's maddening!

Same issue!   Tech came out and tried fixing stuff... said it's a problem with the feed from Xfinity.  Can't keep paying for service that doesn't work

I had been having the same pixelating and frame freezing issues for months now after having replaced my old box for a new 4000k box. This new 4000k box would get so hot that l put a little external fan on it to keep it cool. And it’s weird that the pixelating seemed to mostly happen in the evening. The fan seemed to help a little but the pixelating still persisted. I went through all the Xfinity steps but nothing resolved it. I took this new 4000k box to my local Xfinity store to get a replacement. They were all out of 4000k boxes so they gave me one of their older boxes that's not 4000k. So far this older box is not pixelating at all. I'm inclined to believe that the issue has something to do with the 4000k boxes.
