TV not on right channel

This has happened before where I don't know what I'm doing I'm switching my TV over to like a cable or something like that because I get the local TV channels like Channel 13 the news and all that kind of stuff on local channels and now it's consisting the local channel 13 is saying 653 Channel 13 which is Channel 13 but it's in the cable TV channel how do I switch back on to the local TV channel not the Cable One
