TV Issues
Having pixelation issues so swapped out main DVR box and small bedroom one. Used new power supply and coaxial cables and switched out hdmi cables too. Should note that the pixelation doesn’t happen when I’m steaming Netflix or any of the others. Mostly with local channels, and live sports, but also when I tape shows to the DVR.
They did work in the neighborhood couple weeks ago and seems worse. Week after the work was done, a “tv only” outage occurred for a couple hours. My internet was unaffected during this outage.
At wits end as to what to do other than swap out the splitters, one in basement and other behind tv so cable can go to gateway and the DVR box.
My gut says it’s an outside issue, especially since they recently completed work- we were notified of day long shut down for them to compete work but again, things haven’t been the same. And then the tv outage only, few days later.
I ended up going to Xfinity store for new splitters and HDMI cables. Still having issues.
Internet is fine. Streaming- Netflix etc, all fine. Cable tv/DVR programs not so much, especially local channels, live tv and recorded programs.
Not sure what else I can do. Any help, ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
