Tv freezes periodically, while watching any channel, the Dvr or trying to use the guide

for several months shows freeze from 2 seconds to a minute. This also happens when i am trying to go to the guide or fast forward. 2 weeks ago they replaced my x1 ( for other reasons). The problem persists. I have restarted all boxes and checked all cables. What should i do, this is getting frustrating. Thanks
