TV flashes in and out

My tv has been flashing in and out for the past couple of weeks.  While on, screen will go black with no sound and picture and then picture will flick back in about a minutes or so.  This keeps happening the entire time the tv is on.  I have changed out the HDMI cable, made sure all plugs are secure and have restarted the tv several times.  I still get the flashing in and out with no picture nor sound.  I have a Samsung tv.

What is the solution?

Troubleshooting Your Video Service Using the App

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap the WiFi tab.
  3. Tap Xfinity Video troubleshooting.
  4. Tap the applicable option to start troubleshooting.
    • E.g., you can tap Picture & Sound to troubleshoot problems with those features.
