TV box not activating
New X1 TV box not finishing activation. Cable has a signal and connections are tight. Tech said it might be the box or a "filter" issue. Getting a replacement tv box, but what is a "filter" issue? Is it a MoCa filter? We have had TV with comcast for over 10 years and the cable works with our older tv box.

My TV box was in storage for several years waiting for a new TV. Now properly connected. Fresh batteries in the remote. Synced to the TV successfully. HDMI connection to the box operating. TV gets channel 2 only. No ability to change channels. Two other TVs in the home operating well. Restarted the stored box multiple times and performed system refresh. Did not fix box problem.
