To pause and rewind live tv, insert the card

I have 2 tv's. One is attached to the DVR box & works fine. The second tv is attached to a smaller box (which has always worked) has stopped working properly & says: To pause and rewind TV,  insert the card. I have called tech support numerous times, and did everything they instructed...but still NO GOOD! Can you please advise if I need a new 2nd box. Thank you.

Try unplugging the box power cord for a minute or so and try again. If that doesn't correct the problem you'll have to swap out the box. You can do that at Service Centers and Xfinity Stores. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/service-center-locations.
