Time not displayed

Just wondering why the time isn't displayed anywhere on the screen since box doesn't display anymore? Or is there a way yo display it?

Hello @Stress63! Are you referring to your cable box and cable TV service?

yes, my cable tv, the little black box has nothing, but I have to constantly push a button on the remote to see time, is there a way it can be set to display on the tv screen?

It won't. If you actually read the article, it says:

These instructions apply to both Motorola and Cisco TV Boxes.

Does the poster have a legacy cable box?
