this tv box isn't compatible
getting the above error message while trying to watch a baseball game I have recorded, on my remote box. then it asks me to swap out the box. what's up with this? there's no capability to display HD programs on non-HD equipment any more?
if I do go into the service center to swap out my box, what are my options? do they make a box anymore with component outputs?
thanks.

I really would like to know, though, why this program won't play on my box. it should. when I was chatting with a rep last night about it, he was asking me about the DVR and what model it is. I told him first of all, if he's looking at my account, he has all that info. second I have 2 DVRs as he can also see. 3rd it's not a DVR issue at all it's an issue with the remote box. so when he told me to unplug the DVR, which I didn't want to do as there was a recording in progress, I told him he didn't know what he was doing and left the chat. strangely enough, my internet and my phone service suddenly stopped working. coincidence? perhaps. everything came back about 10 minutes later as I was on the phone (on my cell) to comcast.

it's an older model, a PR150BNM. it looks like to replace it, I would have to give up the component output, and I need that still, so I'm stuck with this issue. other HD stuff plays on this box, not sure why this baseball game won't play. it isn't anything streaming, which I know this box won't do.

Hello,
I have had a Pace RNG150N P2 for many years now and just today I am getting this exact message when I am trying to watch a recording on it. I also have another two boxes in my house, one of them being a DVR. I don't know why I am getting this message but decided to follow the instructions to order a new TV box but I am unsure if the system identified which room's tv box needed to be replace and with which type of box would be substituted.

When I got this message, I unplugged that box and plugged it back in again. When the reboot was finished all was well again.
