Third Party Apps Not Launching from TV

All week have had issues with launching Netflix (included with my package) or Hulu. It doesn't resolve resetting gateway with Xfinity app. The only way I can resolve is by unplugging cable and gateway . What's up?

@user_ynt35o   Thanks for posting and sharing what happens with your apps! Also for resetting the modem from the app. Consider that like a 'soft reboot', while unplugging the modem for 30 seconds from all cables as a full reboot. That clears out any memory it doesn't need, and next step if a soft reboot doesn't help. It sounds like that is also needed on the cable box, but it's not that easy. It will save user settings and history, even if it's unplugged for a bit. Let's clear out the cache on it directly, then see if the trouble continues. Please use the steps here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-clear-cookies-and-local-data-storage to clear it from the box you have. That will give it the fresh start they need, to all launch correctly. Let me know the results :).

@XfinityBenny I am having the same issue. I’ve cleared the cache, restarted the gateway. Still have not helped

@user_zihknk Are you seeing any error messages when you go to launch the apps on the X1 TV box?
