the main menu on x1 is not good anymore and i want to avoid or block it
When i first got my x1 box there were no advertisments. Now there are more than enough. Does anyone know how to disable, block, hide or do anything to prevent from going to the main menu. I tried finding remotes that have no home or menu button but they are few and far between. I need help with this.

@user_62e12b Thank you for contacting us here at the Xfinity Community Forums regarding your concern with your X1 equipment. May I confirm which 'main' or 'home' menu you are referring to? Is this when clicking the Xfinity button on your remote? Generally, there would be no way to 'disable' this as the X1 platform does use a hub or landing page to provide you access to your services such as live TV and On-Demand content.
