Stuck on Welcome screen

Xfinity Assistant keeps telling me to unplug/restart. No amount of unplugging/plugging back in works - not after 30 seconds, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours, etc. I can't restart because Xfinity shows the box as being "offline". Help!
