Sound Pops with HBO2 HD

Been watching the Sopranos marathon the last couple nights on HBO 2 HD and notice the sound will pop at certain points of the program frequently. Doesn't seem to happen with any other channels. I'm using X1 xg1v4 box with Sony tv and with connected Bose 900 sound bar with all connections with HDMI. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem?

Have you noticed the popping issue with other programming on HBO2 HD, or has it been limited to this particular series? If you were to access the same programming from the Xfinity On Demand menu, does the popping occur the same way?

I don't watch HBO 2 HD enough to know if it's happening with other shows with HBO 2. But I'm watching now the Last season of The Sopranos and it's still happening but not as bad.

Had no issues when watching episodes with HBO Ondemand. Please look into HBO 2 HD Linear channel with Comcast of Garden State NJ 08054

Happy to help troubleshoot this issue with you, @tstack! An issue isolated to one channel, program, or show might indicate an issue with that network's broadcast at that moment. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps using the Xfinity app when this occurred? Or try testing it using the sound from your TV, rather than using the sound bar to see if the same sound popping occurs?
