Sound cutting in and out

We didn’t have this problem until yesterday when we upgraded from our old boxes to new ones at their advice.  Now we cannot even watch our tv! Every fourth word sound cuts out. I've called & called reset & reset now told to wait 2 hrs.  I wish I still had my old boxes!  This is very wrong and makes no sense!  My bill is $314 a month this is ridiculous.

@user_2vbp7v  Thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums. What you are describing usually means the TV does not have a good connection to the input, the wrong input is being used on the receiver or the video connections between the TV Box and the television are connected incorrectly. These issues can almost always be resolved by performing these troubleshooting steps. Please change the input on the TV using the Xfinity Remote. You may need to go through each option slowly to see if a picture appears.
