Sound constantly cutting out on TV's

Why is the sound constantly cutting out on our TV's?  It's been happening for the last couple days.  I'm in the Central NJ area.  Disconnecting and rebooting boxes and using different HDMI ports has not helped.  I've seen others on the forum complaining about the same thing.  It must be a central problem with Xfinity.

Past few weeks the audio on the recorded shows cuts in and out. Called the 800 # 3 times and disconnected every time. Tried a chat but that didn’t work for me.
