Smart resume not working

Recently my recordings of network tv shows no longer have the markers to skip commercials. It's not out of sync, it's nonexistent.

I've noticed some recordings don't have it but if you do and want a workaround, then:

Best is to use it. Then program the 30 second skip button to your remote and hit once to skip to the show once the smart Resume ends.

We do apologize for any inconvenience, this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/dvr-smart-resume has great information on the smart resume for fast forwarding commercial breaks. I would also recommend hard rebooting your cable box by unplugging the power cord from the back of the cable box for 30 seconds and plug it back in
