smart resume not working right

Obviously hundreds of users are having the same issue with no resolution.  When is Xfinity going to fix this?  Ours just started happening about a week ago and I rebooted and didn't fix it.  Very annoying because why have it if you have to watch another minute or more of commercials when you use it.  When are you going to fix it?

Hello @BigBenny. I am sad to hear about the issue you are having. It has been a coup of days. Are you still having issues or were you able to get this resolved? -Aaron

@XfinityAaron​ Are you serious?  Really?  Not a couple of days....more like two years now.  Have you even read the hundreds of posts in this forum?  Why don't you fix the problem.  We are paying a lot of money for this and the issue continues now for over two years?  Why aren't you offering a fix for the problem?

I sincerely apologize this feature is still not working. This is something that our teams have been made aware of, and have gathered information on, so that we can get to working on a solution! All our necessary teams are involved and actively working towards getting this fixed! We thank you for your time, patience and understanding!

 

We do have a temporary fix as we work to have a permanent fix. You can turn the smart resume off and then on again. It is under the settings section then preferences, then general and then smart resume section.
