Slow response with X1 Remote
We have been having a problem with slow (or no) response when pressing buttons on the X1 remote. This happens on the Main TV with DVR and on other TVs with a mini box. We have gone through battery changes, resets, etc. It works for a while then the problem returns. This is all at our house in FL.
We have a cottage in MA with a separate Xfinity account. Same model DVR and remote. Went 3 months without a single problem.
Returned to FL, and problem was still there. Swapped out the DVR box, but the problem was back within a day. One new issue is that the Xfinity box reboots itself once a day at around 4:00 pm. However, the major annoyance is the unresponsive X1 remote.
Thinking about it, it seems the problem started around the time I upgraded my internet to gigabit speed and the XB6 Gateway. Could there be any connection? Should I update to the XB7 gateway? Any thoughts?
By the way, the MA location has an Arris modem that I own, not an XFi gateway.
