slow response on XG2v2-P performance

I have X1 with 2 tv set tops in my house:

1) Xi6-A wireless

2)XG2v2-P wired

When I use the XG2v2-P I am seeing very slow response when scrolling in menu, changing channels, FFwd and Rewind, DVR, and using streaming apps (Netflix, Youtube, etc...).

The box is 10 feet from x1.

The Xi6-A doesn't have a lag despite being wireless in another room.

How do I debug this device?

I've seen other threads looking for an option to upgrade/swap out this device if that's a better option.
