Signing up for Paramount Plus

I'm working with a property mgt company.   We have a bulk account set up with several residents account linked together.  

One of our residents would like to sign up for Paramount Plus.   

We created an Xfinity ID, using his email address, for him with Manager Permissions.

On the X1 box, we went to

App, 

Paramount Plus

Sign Up

Type in their personal information  (using the same email as Xfinity ID)

Selected a plan.  

got a screen saying there was a problem creating the account please contact [Edited: "Personal Information"], (done this 3 times now with the same results)

 - - -  that email address is a joke btw,  apparently they are not responding to any emails.      

Called Paramount Plus directly, was told they couldn't tell me why there was a problem creating an account,  I would have to contact Xfinity.  

Here I am.  

what other information do you need in order to get this resolved for our resident??
