Shows not recording - 20260602

All of a sudden we are not able to record shows. Let’s us go set up then it does not record and it has a red not circle on the record. What am I missing?

Hi there, @user_d84srh! You are at the right place for further help with why your shows will not record to the DVR. The most common thing I see is when too many recordings are scheduled at the same time. The amount of shows you can record at the same time can vary from 2-6 or more depending on your package. The DVR chooses which items to record based on your series priority. If they are one time recordings it will record based on the earliest date the recordings at the same time were set up. The X1 box will also show you if it is canceling a recording. 

1. Press the Xfinity Button and go to Saved

2. On the menu that opens navigate to scheduled.

3. You will see each scheduled recording there. If there is a full red circle it will record. The empty red circle that is not recording. It also shows why there. If you see series conflict that means too many shows are set to record at the same time.
