Shows freezing

I only have internet with free peacock, pay for paramount plus. Since switching to gateway modem/router instead of my own equipment, my tv freezes up during the ads and am lucky if it'll unfreeze.

Hello, @user_99itw0. Thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums for support, you have contacted the right place for assistance with your TV freezing concern. I would definitely like to investigate this further for you, so you can enjoy your Peacock and Paramount Plus service.

Please let me know if you're still experiencing the freezing when viewing. If so are you streaming directly from an App on your TV, or do you use a Flex box?

I would like to have an xfinity employee to contact me regarding the same issue. Recording shows on iPad and iPhone have not been working since at least November. When I watch a show I recorded it freezes. Get frozen screen with voice continuing or no voice. It’s extremely frustrating. Tech support told me it has been getting a lot of call

with same issue. I’m paying for a service that hasn’t worked in months. Now the January bill is even higher.
I’d like to know who’s addressing this problem and when it’s going to be rectified. I was supposed to be getting a credit on my account ( rep said he was putting in for it. He also said he would call me in 8 days( when it was supposed to be fixed). Well it’s not fixed and I have not received a call and have not seen the substantial credit I was supposed to be getting. 3 months of paying for a service I can’t even use.
