Setup X1 on outdoor TV

We are moving to a new home soon and will mount a tv outside (covered patio) and will have cat 6 and coax available. Does xfinity have a weatherproof box? If not, how do we set it up to watch all channels, access on-demand and available apps?

Hi, daquanabe. We do not have a weather-proof box but we can explain how to get service to that TV. Has the home you are moving into had service from Xfinity before?

That's pretty cool that you are going to have a covered patio and TV out there. I can see a setup like this being a comfortable way to hang out in your backyard. A few things come to mind, but my best recommendation is scheduling a professional installation when the time is right. Each home is different and a tech being at the location can determine the best choice.  Our techs are great at determining the most optimal way to receive dependable service.

We do have wireless cable boxes, that might work, or we do have the Xfinity Stream beta app. This app will work on select Samsung and LG Smart TVs. You can get more info about our app here. (https://comca.st/34Fndza) Do you have an idea when construction will be completed and have you already purchased your TV?

Thanks for your response. Construction is in very early stages but we're hoping to be in before Thanksgiving.
