Set top box noise

We received our set top box 4 days ago and since yesterday it has been making a loud whirring (fan?) noise. It is now to the point that it’s louder than the television at normal volume.
How do I get a new box?

You’d have to get hold of customer service to send out a new one, as most, if not all Xfinity stores are closed

adding... if you are connecting to the TV or audio device via HDMI consider asking for a 4K DVR (has a solid state hard drive, no spinning disks, 6 tuners and bluetooth capable, same price).
