I spent four hours in a chat with five different people from India. One common phrase they used was “please don’t worry,” which was incredibly annoying. What made it worse was that they kept trying to upsell me on my service, suggesting that I pay more per month and pressuring me to get my cell phone service through Xfinity and buy a new phone.

I simply want my Xi6 box to work again. Ever since an update about two years ago, the box has been becoming unstable. Resetting the modem clears the problem but it always reoccurs in a day or two. They sent out the technician. Unplugging and plugging everything back in again doesn’t seem like a “fixing my problem,” solution and the issue persists.

I have the entire chat from the beginning of my four-hour conversation with them to the end.

Is there a place where I can share this? People need to be outraged!  We are paying for a premium service. I’m paying $220 a month.

Customer service for Xfinity needs to change.
