Screensaver type menu - still not available in 2026

I saw in previous forums posted in 2024 (most recent) that the “screensaver type” you can use to change “screensavers” is not showing up under “screensaver settings” in the X1 settings interface menu. I’m posting to also state that I recently got an X1 in my apartment and do not see it. However, my neighbor, who has the same plan, has the option available on hers. I completely went through all troubleshooting, this is clearly an issue with software or updates it seems. Or perhaps, the specific device handed out to customers in stores?

For clarification: I reset my box, restarted it, and even tried another tv doing the same things. Still not there…the fact this is a hit or miss only on some x1 boxes, and has not been resolved in a year is unprofessional (I direct this at the developers—not the customer support service employees taking all the hate). 

I hope this post can reopen a support ticket to be resolved (as I found out I can’t even submit one for this topic unless it falls under specific categories, in Ai or their ticket module lol).

In the age of advanced tech, I expect this setting feature to be intentionally unresolved or simply a paywall?
