So I've seen several Post on this back to 2021 and it surprises me that you as a company can not have a up date to have the option to shut off the screen saver probly a simple fix but instead you keep going back to your  option to set the time to 5 hours and seem like that is what we are looking for and you go in to detail on how to do that every time this subject comes up wow are you that unintelligent  we all know how to put it to 5 hours but that's not what we are looking to do we want the option to turn off the screen saver so please don't reply to this with your [Edited: "Language"] about changing the time and get on the IT department to have option to shut off the screen saver or get rid of it all together

The concern is not "Home Security Devices And Equipment" help related. Topic moved here to the TV help section for assistance.

Hey there @user_tn5li4 I am sorry you are not satisfied with the options available to you but we greatly appreciate your feedback, as that is what drives innovation here at a Comcast! Keep up the great ideas and you may see it become official in the future!

The problem is that the screen saver is meant to save your screen from a sill picture (where nothing in the picture is moving-like a photo or a paused dvr) when I am watching a channel the pictures are moving (not needing protection from the screen saver). So setting to the longest option of 5 hours is useless… the screen saver option needs to be fixed. It should just be on for when you pause something… it should NOT be on for if you just want to watch the same channel for hours on end (the picture in the screen is moving not still - and does not need protection). Please tell your boss this so they can let the coders know to change it     Thank you
