Saved recordings are disappearing from DVR

Hello.  I've had signficant service issues since 5/25.  As part of the "troubleshooting" my box was upgraded from the XG1v3 bocx to the v4.  After the box "upgrade", I noticed the majority of my saved recordings are gone without any use intervention.  I've also noticed that recordings available after the "upgrade" are now disappearing,.  

I'm still working to resolve the service issues (signal) but to add this issue to the other nonsense is just hard to accept.

 

Please help!

That’s how the cloud dvr works. Once you swap dvrs the cloud keeps access to the last 60 hours(slowly some markets are increasing to 150 hours).. Every time you record on the new dvr those cloud recordings will drop off until they’re gone. Nothing new, it’s worked this way for years

Hello.  I have the XG1v4 box, upgraded last week.  I have had significant cable issues since 5/25.  On the prior X1 box, I had several recordings saved to the DVR that are now gone.  Items that didn't delete are now disappearing without any user intervention.  It's very concerning that I'm losing my saved recordings.  

 

The service issues (signal) I'm still in the process of resolving.  Adding the DVR issues to the other issues is just more nonsense.

Why won't recordings be kept longer when asked to keep 1 year when setting up recording ?  I would never have dropped Tivo if I realized how badly these dvrs work (or don't)
