Satellite Box Audio Problems

After working fine for several years, one of my satellite boxes has the audio go dead when the box is first powered on.  Doing a reset or reload doesn't help.  The only thing that fixes it is to drop primary power and power it up again (causes the box to initialize).  Is the box going bad?  How can I get a replacement?

@dennismccreery Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forums. How long have you been having the box behave like this? It's possible it may need to be replaced. You may want to try using a different power outlet but if the issue continues, you may need to send us a Private Message with your full name and address so that we can look into this further. Here are instructions on how to send us a PM in case you need them:

Click "Sign In" if necessary
 • Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon (upper right corner of this page)
 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send your message

We look forward to hearing from you.

@XfinityBenjaminM Thanks.  Sent a DM with my contact info.  The box just started doing this about 2-3 weeks ago.
