Samsung TV won’t recognize cable box

I have done the whole unplug and replug thing. I have done a factory reset on my Samsung tv and reset the router in my house. My Samsung TV is not recognizing the cable box. Under HDMI1, it says “unknown” instead of “xfinity”. It seems to think my cable box is off, when it is definitely not. Everything is plugged in properly.

Have you tried a different HDMI cable?  Make sure you are using one rated for 4K.

Hi @user_2a4c0c! Sorry to hear you're running into issues with your cable box. I can understand how frustrating this can be, and will help get this resolved if you haven't done so already. I wanted to follow-up with you to see if you are still having problems getting your cable box connected to your Samsung TV? Were you able to try a new HDMI as suggested? Is there another TV you can connect the box to as a test to see if the same thing happens?
