Same issue here

X1 box video lags about two seconds behind the audio. No sound bar. Hdmi straight into the TV from the box. The living room tv/box works just fine.

HDMI connected devices are synched only by the television set 9and its menu). The settings are per device (HDMI connected). using your TV's remote, find the audio menu and then the lip sync menu and adjust plus/minus direction for best results. find and used the settings successfully?
